Dr Hilary Dickson grew up in Victoria and graduated from Monash University in 1982.  She has worked in General Practice for more than 30 years.  She enjoys the challenge of making a diagnosis, of solving a problem and is honoured and privileged to share in so many aspects of her patients' lives.

She enjoys many aspects of medicine; diabetes, heart disease, coordinating complex care, seeing new babies and performing minor procedures such as removing skin lesions.

Away from work, she likes to be fit. She enjoys gardening, hiking, camping, reading, listening to music.  She really enjoys going to plays, ballets, concerts, musicals and hanging out with her friends (over dinner)!

She finds entertaining fun and finds cooking is creative and satisfying.

Dr Dickson tries hard to keep plastic out of her life and to reduce her carbon footprint. She says this is definitely a work in progress as she suspects it is for most of us.
